Trends are dead! Or not? The times of “the” hairstyle of the year and “the” skirt length of the season are over at the latest since the internet creates what feels like 20 new trends a day. It’s difficult to keep track of things, but if you take a closer look, you can discover clear tendencies.

BILD has summarized the hottest trends in fashion and beauty for all generations.

Teens und Twens

For the youngest category, a time we’d rather forget stylistically is considered excitingly retro: the early 2000s. Baggy, low-rise pants, middle parting and even tattoo-style Ed Hardy shirts again have all been revived by the TikTok generation.

Gen Z girls are grabbing the hottest looks from 2004’s Bravo. Millennials (25+)

This generation also likes to look to the past for style inspiration, but much further back. In their late 30s, many (but not all!) lose their urge to regularly reinvent themselves in terms of fashion. Many women and men at this age tend towards classics and minimalism. The color palette is reduced to black, white, navy and grey, but colors from nature are used as accents. You no longer have to follow every trend, but you have the self-confidence to make small statements.
