- The governor verified the new facilities of the Multisports Space in the San José Libramiento neighborhood, after it had been in poor condition for years

During the rehabilitation of the multi-sports space in the San José Libramiento neighborhood, in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Governor Rutilio Escandón Cadenas expressed his satisfaction at being able to verify that public resources continue to be used adequately, in the consolidation of works and actions that add to the unity and promotion of sports, recreation and healthy social and family coexistence.
Together with the settlers, the president toured the new facilities of this place, after years of not having the adequate infrastructure to practice a sport; now, he said, it has quality multi-purpose fields, where children, youth and the elderly will be able to carry out not only physical-sports activities, but also cultural, civic and leisure activities in a dignified manner.
“Sport is also health. If we carry out this type of action, we help children and young people in their learning, and adults in the workplace, which strengthens the growth of the human development index. For this reason, we will continue to improve more spaces of this type, so that everyone has within their reach optimal sports and recreational units for coexistence and integration ”, he emphasized.
Escandón Cadenas highlighted that in Chiapas they work in line with the public policies of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, because they make common cause with all the authorities to increasingly benefit the people, always seeking that what is done contributes to the well-being of the and citizens, such as this work in which the storm and sanitary drainage was also rehabilitated, and has solar energy.
“Have confidence, we will not fail you. Together with President López Obrador, who is always aware that Chiapas does not lack anything, we are going to continue dignifying the image of cities, both near and far, as well as communities and ranches. Therefore, today, the capital looks very dignified, ”he stressed.
In turn, the Secretary of Public Works, Ángel Torres Culebro, maintained that this was a forgotten sports complex that represented a danger to the integrity of the people, but thanks to joint work today it is a decent public space for the practice of sport and social coexistence. “This is a sign that when there is unity, the objective of providing well-being to the population can be met.”
On behalf of the inhabitants of the San José Libramiento neighborhood, Adriana Jazmín Petriz Paredes, thanked the state and municipal authorities for the delivery of this sports work, which, she said, demonstrates the willingness to work in favor of the Tuxtleca neighborhoods , while endorsing the community commitment to monitor it so that they make good use of the facilities, so that they are kept in optimal conditions.
Finally, the mayor of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Carlos Morales Vázquez, highlighted the support that the Government of Chiapas provides to promote these works that contribute to the development of the capital city; Likewise, he assured that the City Council joins in and does its part to contribute to the construction of a modern and well-being city.
