The Associação Amigos Novo Mundo Associados (ANMA) presented a proposal to the City Hall of São Paulo for the creation of an inspection fee for noise pollution and aeronautical noise at Congonhas Airport, in the South Zone of the city.

According to the proposal, each passenger who boards an aircraft leaving or landing in Congonhas must pay a fee of R$ 30.

The amount collected would be used to reduce the environmental and social impact caused by the airport in the region. The City Hall of São Paulo will evaluate the proposal.
