According to ISU Mureş, a SMURD crew from the Sovata Work Point was requested to intervene on Tuesday, at around 11:00 a.m., within the radius of the Sovata locality, to provide medical care to a person who was attacked by a bear.
The victim, a 36-year-old man, suffered multiple bite injuries on his left leg.
The man was transported in a stable condition to UPU Târgu Mureş.
According to IPJ Mureş, from the first checks carried out by the police it emerged that the man was bitten by a bear in the area of a stable located on Căpeți Street, in Sovata.
In the case, a criminal investigation file was opened, for bodily injury due to negligence, in order to establish all the circumstances in which the event took place.
