The study was conducted at the University of Adelaide in Australia and examined more than two hundred people over 18 months. In this framework, the subjects adhered to a fasting diet, limited in time. At the same time, another group adhered to a balanced and reduced calorie diet.

The findings confirmed that those who fasted three days a week and ate only between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on the fasting days showed a higher resistance to glucose after six months of research and compared to the control group. Also, the braided group showed better responses to insulin. However, both groups recorded impressive weight losses.
