A new mall is being prepared for the residents and visitors of Dubai city. Expo City Mall with an area of 3,85,000 square feet is newly planned. The mall will be open to visitors by next year.
The mall will have more than 190 retail outlets and more than a thousand parking spaces. Facilities are being prepared for easy access to the visitors. As part of this, there will be a system to reach the new shopping center through Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Expo Road, Jebel Ali Road and Dubai Metro.
Expo City Mall is also being prepared by Emaar Group, the builder of Dubai’s largest malls. Emaar Group has announced that Expo City Mall will open its doors to visitors early next year. But it will be smaller than Emaar’s other shopping malls like Dubai Mall and Dubai Hills Mall.
Opened in October last year, Expo City is currently a major attraction for tourists. Internationally renowned conferences and events will also be held in the city in the coming years. Expo City was opened for visitors keeping 80 percent of the systems prepared for the Expo 2020 Dubai fair. Alwasl Dome and Jubilee Park, the mainstay of the Expo, have been retained. A fan zone for World Cup football was prepared here. No ticket is required to enter the city. The new mall will be a major attraction and shopping destination for visitors to Expo City in the future.
