The Louisville Metropolitan Police has released body camera video of the officer who shot the killer in a bank.

We see in particular the police officer Cory Galloway shooting in the direction of the suspect, then shouting “I think he is dead” before approaching him and heading inside the bank, scene of the shooting, to s sure there was no other danger.
The body camera video of another police officer who took part in the intervention, Nickolas Wilt, was also made public.
Louisville police also shared a video captured by a passerby showing the police intervention from another angle as well as photos of the assailant before the police arrived.
In a press conference, Commander Paul Humphrey praised the work of policeman Wilt.
“You will see that he never hesitated, even after being shot,” he explains. This young man returned to the front line to protect others, and you will see that his decisions ultimately led to the protection of others’ lives.”
The shooter waited for the police to arrive before attacking.
“He could see outward while no one could see him inward,” Humphrey said.
On April 10, shooter Connor Stuegon killed five people and injured eight others when he opened fire in the bank where he worked.
