Under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Deputy Governor of the region, inaugurated the works of the third edition of the Calligraphy Forum of the Two Holy Revelations for calligraphers in the Kingdom, in the Mr. Habib Public Library In Medina, in the presence of a number of officials, intellectuals and those interested in the field of Arabic calligraphy.
His Highness the Deputy Emir of the region inaugurated the exhibition accompanying the forum, which is organized under the title (Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, the city of codification of the Two Holy Revelations). In the field of the line of the two holy revelations since the honorable prophetic mission, in the presence of the CEO of the department, Turki bin Muhammad Al-Shuwaier.
The ceremony of the Forum of the Two Holy Revelations for calligraphers, in its third edition, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Department delivered the forum’s speech, in which he spoke about writing the Two Holy Revelations and what it represents of great importance that the Islamic nation took seriously and with great interest since the dawn of the prophecy until the present time, Referring to the care of the writers and calligraphers of the Noble Revelation in this great field.
His Excellency also reviewed the efforts of the King Abdulaziz House under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince – may God protect them – by virtue of its role entrusted to it in serving the heritage and culture of the Kingdom and its contribution to caring for Arabic calligraphy.
He added that the circuit organizes this forum annually, so that calligraphers and calligraphers get the integrated knowledge of the method of writing the Noble Qur’an and its controls, and writing the purified Prophet’s Sunnah, so that each participant writes one part of the Noble Qur’an and a number of the noble hadiths of the Prophet.
After that, the attendees watched a visual presentation that included an introduction to the forum, its objectives, the way it works, and the services provided to calligraphers and calligraphers to qualify them to be calligraphers of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet.
Then, His Highness kindly launched the activities of writing the Holy Qur’an, in addition to launching the competition for writing the Noble Hadith, and the licensed calligraphers and calligraphers were introduced in the field of the script of the Two Holy Revelations.
After that, Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal honored the calligraphers and calligraphers participating in the forum.
At the end of the ceremony, His Highness received a souvenir from the Dara, and memorial photos were taken on this occasion.
