Mandatory annual negotiations are less tense than in 2022. Many brands are granting general increases of more than 4%.
The pickets have been more discreet this year. The Amazon site in Boves, near Amiens (Somme), was certainly temporarily blocked last month, in protest against the pension reform as much as to demand salary increases. But management and unions finally reached an agreement on remuneration for 2023 without too much impact on the activity of the e-merchant.
Four out of five trade union organizations (Sud, CFDT, CFE-CGC and CAT) approved management’s proposals on Tuesday. From May, Amazon Logistics employees in France will receive an average increase of 4.3% in their base salary, to which will be added a value-added sharing bonus of 1,000 euros.
