Saudi Arabia: The Ministry of Interior has announced that foreign nationals and foreign partners will be exempted from the PCR test, which is mandatory for entry into Saudi Arabia.
Children and parents of expatriates from abroad do not need a PCR test. The ministry also said that domestic workers entering Saudi Arabia along with their nationals were exempted from the mandatory PCR test.

The decision was taken by the ministry after conducting a continuous assessment of the current developments regarding Kovid at the global level and the current situation in the country. The law requires foreigners to carry a negative result from the Kovid PCR test conducted 72 hours before entering the country. This rule is omitted.

Vaccination has been intensified in the country to control Kovid. More than 48.2 million people have been vaccinated in the country so far, officials said. Saudi now offers booster doses to both locals and foreigners. There are currently 587 vaccination centers operating across the country.
