As part of its Ramadan Operation initiated each year, the mobile telephone operator, Moov Africa Malitel, proceeded on Friday, April 7, 2023, to the delivery of kits consisting of Ramadan baskets, Korans and prayer mats to Muslim faithful. of the “Mamadou Bagayoko” mosque from Touréla to Sanakoroba.
This donation ceremony was chaired by Ms. Soumaré Habibatou N’Diaye, head of the public relations department of Moov Africa Malitel.
The representative of Moov Africa Malitel indicated that these donations are part of their annual action plan for the month of Ramadan: “This action plan boils down to the delivery of food donations to the various structures in charge of underprivileged children, to mosques, among others. These donations consist of prayer mats, baskets for breaking the fast as well as copies of the Holy Quran for the Muslim faithful.. He added that these actions will continue throughout the month of Ramadan in the different neighborhoods and localities of the country to help the needy in this blessed month of Ramadan.
For his part, the Imam of the said mosque, Gaoussou Doumbia thanked Moov Africa Malitel for these donations which are not the first of their kind on their part. For him, Moov Africa Malitel is the best telephone company in Mali. “Moov Africa Malitel, apart from the valuable reliable services they offer to its customers, also thinks of the poor people of this country,” he concluded.
