Kuluthlai: The police have registered a case against a person who broke into a petrol station near Dharagambatti and stole generators, bank checks and air intakes for vehicles.
Kalpana, 43, hails from Kaliappanur, Karur. She runs Devarmalai petrol station near Dharagambatti. On the 5th, when her husband Prabhakaran was at the petrol station, Rajasekaran, 42, a resident of the same town, and some others abused him with inappropriate words and looted the items including bank cheques, generator, air intake machine for vehicles from the petrol station. They also threatened to kill Prabhakaran.
According to Kalpana’s complaint, the Chintamanipatti police have registered a case against Rajasekaran and others and are investigating.
