The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country regarding the murder of a 17-year-old boy. He asked to punish those who committed a serious crime within the law and to investigate the fact. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

Mahabat Zhanysheva, the mother of Kyrgyz Anvar Kubanychbek’s son, who was murdered in Podmoskovye region of Moscow region, appealed to the Investigative Committee of Russia. He held a press conference in Bishkek on April 13 and asked for a thorough investigation into his son’s death.

Zhanysheva said that Russian investigators refused to receive a statement from Raatbek, who was with Anwar when he was killed, and that the investigation is not ongoing.

The body of the stabbed son of Anvar Kubanychbek was buried on March 26 in Kyzyl-Zyldyz village of Jumgal district.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan issued a statement on his death on March 24. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that four Kyrgyz citizens aged 20-21 were detained as suspects in the crime. An air gun and a knife were found with the suspects.

The police did not provide information about the conflict that led to the murder, but the investigative department of the city of Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, reported that they had opened a case under the article “Murder”.
