The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) will hire 153 family doctors, former scholarship recipients, who completed their academic training financed by this State portfolio and joined as health personnel.
At the moment, the MSP has the budget allocation and issued the guidelines to the human talent units for the change from accrual modality to occasional contract, once the respective periods are completed.
This process is part of the strengthening of the first level of care for which the MSP planned the hiring of 11,354 health workers until December 2023. In addition, the comprehensive intervention of 50 health centers and the maintenance of 600 units with an investment of $22 millions.
Between February and April 2023, 3,288 health professionals have been hired, of which 1,364 join Health Centers.
