Like every Friday, the 13 Hours takes you on a discovery of a corner of France. Since Antiquity, the Breton village of Cancale, in the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, has been known for its oysters and its maritime landscapes.

Steep cliffs of the Pointe du Grouin to the fine sandy beaches, Cancale (Ille-et-Vilaine) attracts thousands of curious people every year. At the end of the port corniche, 400 hectares of flat oyster beds extend. Each year, 5,000 tonnes of oysters are produced. A lover of their hazelnut taste, King François 1er made Cancale the oyster capital of France.
