What are the causes of petty?
Warts (petty) are defined by the Mayo Clinic as small, granular bumps on the skin that appear most often on the fingers and hands. They are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus and are transmitted by touch.
The texture of the warts is usually rough and the appearance may present a pattern of small black dots formed by clotted blood.

How are the petty ones removed?
Although the petty ones are caused by HPV, they are often harmless and go away over time, however, it is important to make sure that these warts or petty ones are not malignant. This is done through a biopsy performed by a dermatologist.
Mayo Clinic explains that in order to destroy a wart or petty wart that has not fallen off over time, it is also necessary to strengthen the immune system, so the treatments can last weeks or months, however they clarify that there are 5 dermatological treatments to treat these injuries:

- Cryotherapy
- Medication with high concentration of salicylic acid

However, although these procedures are performed directly in the office under professional supervision, the Mayo Clinic also recommends some more “at home” remedies to help remove them quickly and safely.

- Spread creams with a high concentration of 17% salicylic acid. They are usually sold without a prescription. The recommendation is to submerge the area where you have the stingy in warm water and then apply the cream and let it rest.
- Freezing: In pharmacies you can usually find products with liquid nitrogen in the form of aerosol or liquid as such. Its sale does not require a prescription.
- Duct tape: You should cover the wart with silver duct tape for six days, then submerge it in water and carefully remove the dead tissue with a pumice stone or a disposable file. Let the wart rest for 12 hours and repeat the process until it disappears

What happens if you cut a petty?
Cutting the petty or wart will only cause the infection to spread to other areas of the body that remain in contact with the open wound, that is, if you touch it, you are a carrier and it can come out elsewhere, in addition to bleeding from cutting warts is usually painful and intense, so it is best to go to a professional review or perform the aforementioned remedies.
