Yapoort recounted in a publication by comedian Cheddy García that Morel made atheistic comments when he attended a consultation to seek legal advice for a relative who wanted to travel outside the country.
“Once in an immigration consultation for a relative he told me that it was impossible, I replied that with God’s help we were going to be able to solve it, to which he replied: ‘God? Where is God? I have never seen him in the halls of the consulate,’” Yapoort wrote.
