The Rogers Center recognized Miggy’s career

Miguel Cabrera’s career continues to be recognized in his last season as an active player in MLB. The Toronto Blue Jays paid tribute to him hours before the game against the Detroit Tigers on Thursday

Present at the event were the Venezuelan and former teammate of Cabrera in the Tigres, Víctor Martínez, as well as the star of the Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr..

Martínez and Guerrero were in charge of giving him a painting with photos of the moment in which Cabrera hit his 500th home run in the Major Leagues, which took place at the Rogers Center, home of the Blue Jays on August 21, 2021.

The Blue Jays are the second team to honor Miguel Cabrera. The first team to do so was the Houston Astros on April 5.

Let’s remember that Cabrera has numbers in Major League Baseball of 3093 hits, 610 doubles and 507 home runs.
