A tragic episode took place in the Buenos Aires town of Merlo where a delivery man escaping at high speed from motochorros that they wanted to rob him, he rammed a young woman that of 26 years, who died instantly. For now, there are no detainees.
It happened last Wednesday after 8:40 p.m., in an area known as the five corners of the Campanilla neighborhood. Specifically, the crash occurred at the intersection of Lafayette, Arredondo and Almirante Brown streets.
How did the tragic episode happen?
Evelin Monzon, the victim, was returning to his home on a motorcycle after doing some shopping, but on the way he collided head-on with the delivery man who was trying to evade the criminals, as seen in a video from a municipal camera. Upon impact, both fell in the middle of the street. Seconds later, the motorcycle on which the criminals were circulating was observed, which, upon seeing the accident, escaped from the scene without carrying out the assault.
