As the last ten days of the month of Ramadan have entered, this year has seen a huge increase in the number of visitors and devotees compared to other times.

After entering the last ten, the flow of believers continues to be in Jamaat, Taraweeh, Qiyamullail prayers, Ihtikaf sitting at Masjidunna Bavi, and anticipating Lailatul Qadr. Al-Sudais stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to avoid overcrowding and to receive all the pilgrims arriving at Masjid Dunna Bawi, and all the assistance is being provided to the visitors to perform their Ibadahs with ease and comfort.

Excellent facilities are arranged for distribution of samsam
Al Ahmadi, Director of Administration of ‘Sukhya’, said that 520 specially trained employees and supervisors are working to deliver and distribute Zamzam water from Makkah through specially equipped tankers to Masjidunna Bavi.

When the samsam arrives in Madinah from Makkah, it is distributed after the sample is tested in the laboratory to ensure that it is safe before distribution. During the holy month, up to 400 tonnes of samsam water is supplied to the Prophet’s Mosque every day. Samsam water is distributed to pilgrims in 14,000 water containers, 10,000 spare containers and single-use Samsam water bottles at three centres.
