The government was sent a draft law on expanding responsibility for the failure or violation of the terms of the state defense order on the part of representatives of enterprises and officials of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade Vladimir Gutenev.
“In the context of a multiple increase in the output of military products, violations by military representatives of the deadlines and procedures for acceptance (or quality control) entail a failure to deliver the necessary weapons and equipment to the NVO zone,” the deputy wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to Gutenev, it is proposed to prosecute officials of the executing enterprise, while representatives of the Ministry of Defense can only face disciplinary action. The draft also proposes to extend administrative liability for “violation of the terms and procedure for quality control and acceptance of military products” with a fine of 30,000 to 50,000 rubles. for every violation.
The authors of the bill were Gutenev himself, Andrey Klishas, chairman of the Federation Council committee on constitutional legislation and state building, and his first deputy senator Irina Rukavishnikova.
On April 10, State Duma deputy from the LDPR faction Yevgeny Markov proposed punishing Russians who abuse the right to file complaints with state bodies.
