The policemen from the Harel station in Jerusalem district received information about a stolen electric scooter, which was being driven on Highway 1 towards the east from Tel Aviv in the afternoon. They decided to locate and block the vehicle with the stolen scooter inside. However, before they could act, the suspect tossed the scooter onto the road and drove away. The Harel patrol officers arrested the suspect (30 years old, from Nablus) and seized the vehicle. They brought the suspect and the scooter to the police station in the Jerusalem district.
In the intelligence and operative activity of the policemen of the Harel station from the Jerusalem district, it was learned about an electric scooter that was stolen in the afternoon from the city of Tel Aviv and is making its way on Highway 1 towards the east.
As a result, the Harel station policemen prepared to locate and block the suspect vehicle with the stolen scooter inside until they noticed that the vehicle stopped before the block and the suspect threw the scooter from the vehicle onto the road and then continued driving.
The vehicle in which the suspect was arrested by Harel patrol officers and the suspect (30 years old, a resident of Nablus) was transported along with the scooter to the police station in the Jerusalem district.
