SFollowing instructions from the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro and the Governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, the mayor of the Cedeño municipality, Daniel Monteverde, continues to provide social care to the general population.
On this occasion, the local president pointed out that more than 453 people were treated, including children, women and the elderly, in a medical-assistance day that took place in the La Pangola sector, in the Caicara parish.
Monteverde specified that medicines such as Diclofenac, Metronidazole, Vitamin C, Losartan, Neproxen, Meloxicam, Atenolol, Diuretics, Aspirin, Antibiotics, gastric protector, among others, were delivered during the day.
“Our commitment is to provide social welfare to our people and that is why I continue working to advance more each day in supporting our people. I am grateful for the support that our Governor has given us, and also to all the health personnel, organized people, and those who contributed their bit to make the activity possible,” said Mayor Daniel Monteverde.
For her part, the director of the Comprehensive Community Health Area (ASIC) in Cedeño, Adirka Chacón, stressed that these conferences are intended to verify the health status of the inhabitants of this jurisdiction.
He said that during the activity, 124 infants were treated in a pediatric clinic; and in general medicine 329, in addition 185 people were dewormed.
Likewise, he assured that 25 doses of various vaccines were applied, such as the care of 55 hypertensive patients and 54 in ophthalmological consultations.
