Tijuana, Baja California.- Renato Núñez and Adalberto Carrillo hit back-to-back home runs, Félix Pérez stayed on with the wood by driving in the first two runs of the game and Junior Lake hit a three-run board for TOros de Tijuana defeated Guerreros de Oaxaca 15-1 at the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium.
The pitching closed the doors from the second inning by hanging eight consecutive rings for the border team to leave their record at 2-3 in wins and losses with a draw in the Interliga Tournament.
The “bellicos” led by Gerónimo Gil were the first to make the cash register ring by hitting Samar Leyva’s double and Eric Filia’s RBI single for the 1-0 at the top of the first round.
