*The case of the LEC is very special, because with the new European format both the winter and spring champions come to MSI. However, the point tally will be the one that decides which team goes to the Play-In and which one goes directly to the Group Phase.
In this matter, qualifying for the playoffs will be key. Team Vitality and Team BDS have already done it, but the Fnatic against MAD Lions and the one that wins against Astralis remains to be played; as well as the G2 against SK Gaming and the one that wins against KOI. Right now Vitality starts with an advantage in points after G2 (winter champion), but everything can change in a breath.
