Covid, physiotherapist: “Rehabilitation must be calibrated on the basis of disease consequences”

“The recovery program of post Covid patients cannot be the same for everyone because many of them have specific problems caused by the disease. For example, some have developed cardiac arrhythmias and therefore training must be adapted to the case”. Giuditta Bettinelli is a physiotherapist at ICS Maugeri in Pavia, which also welcomes many former Covid patients in the motor and respiratory rehabilitation programs, to whom the disease has left effects on the respiratory and muscular systems.
