The President of the Republic, Head of State, HE Mr. Mohamed Bazoum received yesterday in audience, the Director General of the Department of African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Mr. Wu Peng. This visit by the Chinese diplomat aims to conduct communication with Niger on the development of bilateral relations and common interests.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Wu Peng declared having exchanged with HE Mohamed Bazoum on projects between the two countries. The Director General of the Department of African Affairs said he listened to the suggestions of the President of the Republic of Niger on the progress of these concrete cooperation projects.
He revealed that at the request of the Head of State to increase investments in Niger, a team of Chinese private entrepreneurs will be in Niger next weekend to organize a China-Niger investment forum.
Mr. Wu Peng also took this opportunity to salute President Bazoum’s efforts to lead Niger and develop its economy.
