The project “Elaboration of Study and Executive Project of the Chiapas de Corazón Interior Circuit in Tuxtla Gutiérrez” is approved in extraordinary session

In order to continue monitoring the request of C. Lic. Ángel Carlos Torres Culebro, Secretary of Public Works of the State, during the extraordinary town hall session on this Friday, April 14, 2023. It was approved by relative majority, the project called “Elaboration of Study and Executive Project of the Chiapas de Corazón Interior Circuit in Tuxtla Gutiérrez”, for which, through the approval of the Secretary of the Environment and Municipal Urban Mobility, grants the corresponding permit for transplanting 582 trees located in the project impact area.

The municipal president Carlos Morales, pointed out that the request of the Secretary of Works of the state of Chiapas, have the purpose of reducing the impact to a minimum, the trees that are inside the Caña Hueca, Joyo Mayu and Tuchtlan parks will not be touched, as well Nor will the Huanacastle tree be damaged, which was designated a municipal heritage. He also pointed out that the Tuxtla City Council requested technical follow-up from the Ministry of Works throughout the transplant process, as well as post-transplant supervision so that the trees are maintained in the new place where they are located.

In his speech, the councilor José Ranulfo Esquinca assured that it is important to analyze development projects in the capital for the benefit of the development of the capital, citizens and the local economy, while prioritizing care for the environment.
