The return of the Easter excursions to Attica is difficult, as the traffic on the Athens-Corinth National Highway is particularly high, where cars move at low speeds.
According to Attica Traffic, the delays start shortly after Kiato, while there are several problems on the road from Korinthos to Agioi Theodorou and from Kineta to Megara.
Delays are also noted at the Kalamaki toll road, where a 200-meter delay is observed.
The picture is better in Athens-Lamia, where drivers will encounter delays just before Malakasa.
According to the Traffic Authority, 34 toll booths have been opened at the entrance to the Afidna toll road to serve drivers, while more than 20 toll booths operate at the Elefsina toll road.
It is recalled that until 22:00 in the evening the traffic at the entrances to the national roads is prohibited for all trucks with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tons.
