The CEO of the IT company 4iG, Gellért Jászai, is now a member of the Board of Trustees of the Supporting Foundation of the University of Szeged (SZTE).
His election took place on Friday; the top manager replaces Energy Minister Csaba Lantos, who ended his membership of the Board of Trustees in mid-February under pressure from the EU. The 150-year-old higher education institution in southern Hungary is considered an outstanding center for the training of computer scientists and engineers. The listed 4iG Nyrt. has been cooperating with the SZTE for years. After his election, Jászai said he was proud to be able to personally contribute to strengthening the ties between university and business.
