Last week, Trillium asked Getty to take a seat on its board of directors and called for continued evaluation of strategic options, including a sale.
Getty is to expand its partnership with Nvidia Corp ( NVDA.O ) to use image rendering technology developed by the company and work with Adobe Inc ( ADBE.O ) to consolidate media collections, Trillium said in a statement.
Trillium also noted that the stock image and video platform should work with Microsoft and its Bing search engine through their Open API (programming interface) system.
The investor, who owns more than 500,000 shares of Getty, said the platform should expand its library of standard stock photos for special events, including religious events, weddings, graduations and family celebrations.
