The range is another difference between the three models. The Mini 3 Pro uses DJI O3, while the Mini 2 and 3 use DJI O2 for controller communication. The image and video quality is the same as in the Pro version: a 1/1.3″ CMOS, 48 megapixel photos, and 4K/30 FPS video. It’s clearly a leap from the Mini 2. The 3 has a larger sensor that allows it to capture more light and larger images, although for most mortals the Mini 2, even though it’s two years old, delivers excellent results.

If the safety of the sensors and autonomous flight are not important, but extreme portability is, the Mini 3 is a very good alternative, but if you don’t also need the latest in photography, the Mini 2 will be the best option, saving 120 euros. .
