Agents from the Police Station for Assistance to Women arrested a municipal guard, this Monday (17), on the charge of having raped a 25-year-old woman on March 14, in São João de Meriti, in Baixada Fluminense, in Rio de Janeiro. January.
Civil Police investigations show that the 55-year-old man premeditated the crime. He was the victim’s neighbor and even broke the security cameras on the street he lived on. In order not to be identified, the suspect wore gloves and a mask. Despite the criminal’s care, the police gathered more than 50 hours of footage to analyze the steps before and after the crime.
The guard is also accused of another crime of rape, committed on February 18, in the same municipality. On the occasion, the man surrendered a couple, trapped his partner in the trunk of the vehicle and raped the woman. He will answer for two rapes and a kidnapping.
By means of a note, the Municipal Guard of Rio reported that the case is already being monitored by internal affairs and that the institution is providing all the information to the bodies involved in the case.
