The Government approves the plan announced by President Pedro Sánchez to allocate 50,000 Sareb homes to affordable rentals, of which 35,000 have already been identified and another 15,000 will be built on land ceded by that public company, following the agreement on the Housing Law .
The Council of Ministers will approve making 21,000 homes available to municipalities and autonomous communities; promote social rental with the 14,000 already inhabited homes in that park and promote the construction of up to 15,000 public homes on available Sareb land, according to government sources.
They calculate that of these houses, there are 9,000 already finished and others 11,900 are pending adaptation. On the other hand, society has 14,000 homes already inhabited that, potentially, can enter within the program announced by Sánchez.
