Forget FIFA, PES, or even NBA2K. What if the next successful sports video game was dedicated to Quidditch? This is the bet made by Warner Bros with the release of a new opus. Despite the success of “Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy”, sorcerer’s apprentices were disappointed not to see their favorite sport present in the game. This will now be done from April 21.

The new component entitled “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” will first be available for two days in limited access for a first phase of testing, so that players share their experience and their opinion on this first version. (there will be only a few places, so to register, it’s here).

“A game that lives up to expectations”

The principle of the game: create your own Quidditch champion to participate in online multiplayer competitions, with your friends or players connected to the other side of the world. Solo games should also be possible, but you will still need to be connected online to play.

For now, “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” is planned for PC and consoles, but no further details have been given, as has the final release date, as well as the price of the game. Only a few images from the official Trailer allow you to give a very quick overview of the game.

On the Warner Bros site, its president David Haddad simply promises “a game that meets expectations”. “Fans have been asking for a Quidditch game for a long time, and we’ve worked with Unbroken Studios for several years to create this game,” he added. All that remains is to be patient, like Harry, to finally catch the snitch.
