London: Liverpool won the English Premier League. Liverpool beat Newcastle. But a strong Chelsea draw came. Everton held Chelsea to a draw.
The hosts won the match by three goals to one at Anfield, Liverpool’s home ground. Newcastle took the lead in the first half, shocking Liverpool through Jonah Shelvey. However, in the 21st minute, Liverpool equalized through Diego Jotta. Four minutes later, superstar Mohamed Salah took the lead for Liverpool.
Just minutes before the end of the match, Liverpool scored the third goal through a long-range shot from Trent Alexander Arnold. With this victory, Liverpool remain second in the points table with 40 points from 17 matches.
At one point, Everton drew 1-1 with top-placed Chelsea. Chelsea took the lead in the 70th minute through Mason Mount. However, in the 74th minute, Gerard Brandtweight equalized for Everton.
With this draw Chelsea remain in third place with 37 points from 17 matches. Everton are 14th with 19 points.
