The Neapolitan comedian has died Federico Salvatore. She was 63 years old. In 2021 he had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and had undergone a rehabilitation process. Chansonnier and cabaret artist, he was known for his comic-satirical texts set above all in the Neapolitan world. Like the humorous songs from the series Accidents: “Accident in the Bank”, “Accident at Vomero”, “Accident in Paradise”, “Accident on the phone”, in which he proposed grotesque and bickering episodes in which he contrasted the snobbish and arrogant character of Federico with the commoner and crude one of Salvatore.
Born in Naples, since he was a child passionate about music, left-handed guitarist, he began studying law but left the university to devote himself to a career as a singer-songwriter. The first appearances in cabarets, his popularity in 1994 with the victory in the “BravoGrazie” competition which makes him debut on the Maurizio Costanzo Show. The numerous participations in the program make him gain fame and success: his albums Azz… e The Wizard of Az sell more than 500 thousand.
