The Crown Prince and the Palestinian President review developments in the Palestinian territories

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met in Jeddah today with His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine.

During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, and emphasized the continuation of the efforts exerted to ensure the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.

The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, and His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, National Security Adviser, Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban, His Excellency the Chief of General Intelligence, Mr. Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Jordan, Mr. Nayef Al-Sudairi.

On the Palestinian side, it was attended by His Excellency the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Mr. Hussein Al-Sheikh, and the Head of the General Intelligence Service, Major General Majed Faraj, and His Excellency the President’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs, Mr. Majdi Al-Khalidi, and the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom, Mr. Bassem Abdullah Al-Agha, and the Chief of Protocol, the President’s Special Secretary, Hussein Hussein.
