In Latvia, the average price of brand 95 gasoline increased by 0.1% last week, while the average price of diesel fuel decreased by 1.5%, according to data compiled by the European Commission (EC).

EC information published this week shows that in Latvia, a liter of 95-grade gasoline cost an average of 1.645 euros in the week from April 11 to 17, a week earlier the average price of 95-grade gasoline was 1.643 euros per liter, and a week ago – 1.646 euros per liter.
On the other hand, the average price of diesel last week in Latvia was 1,533 euros per liter. A week earlier, the average price of diesel fuel was 1.556 euros per liter, and a week before – 1.586 euros per liter.
It has already been reported that the average price record for brand 95 gasoline in Latvia was achieved in 2022 in the week from June 14 to 20, when the average price of brand 95 gasoline was EUR 2.104 per liter, while the record for the average price of diesel fuel was achieved in the week from June 21. until June 27 – 2.108 euros per liter.
The EC gathers member states’ data on average fuel prices every week.
