Burkina: Dedication of a work to guide real estate agents to more professionalism

Ouagadougou April 20, 2023 (AIB) – The President of the Association of Real Estate Brokers and Agents of Faso (ACAIF), Abdoulaye Kaboré dedicated this Thursday in Ouagadougou his work entitled “La boussole”, which aims to guide brokers and real estate agents for more professionalism.

“In the current context, it turns out that real estate agents and brokers do not work professionally, they work amateurishly. “The compass” comes as a guide for real estate and land actors,” said writer Abdoulaye Kaboré.

Abdoulaye Kaboré is the president of the Association of Real Estate Brokers and Agents of Faso (ACAIF).

According to him, the book deals with the responsibilities of brokers and real estate agencies, before the law of their actions, the quality of real estate agent, his role, the rights and duties of the owner or the lessor who rents an apartment.

The dedication ceremony of the 204-page book, “the compass”, took place this Thursday in Ouagadougou, under the high patronage of the Minister of Town Planning, Land Affairs and the Inhabitant, Mikaïlou Sidibé.

Abdoulaye Kaboré informed that his work addresses three main points, namely the presentation of the Association of Real Estate Brokers and Agents of Faso (ACAIF) and its partners, land and real estate procedures and finally practical information and advice.

“This work also addresses consumer protection and gives practical advice on property and land management,” he added.

“This work for us is very important in the sense that it is a book which contains a certain amount of information which is useful to users and actors in the land chain”, affirmed the Minister of Town Planning, property and the inhabitant, Mikaïlou Sidibé.

Mr. Sidibé congratulated and praised the intellectual work of the author who comes to “add earth to earth”, and make his contribution to improving the practice of real estate development.

The work costs 10,000 FCFA and is currently available at the l’harmattan bookstore in Ouagadougou.
