That the “clicks” are essential gestures in the life of human beings, constitutes a priority to successfully implement the computerization policies of the Cuban society. In order to achieve this purpose, the first edition of the Guanajay Technological Fair in transformation was held, whose main objective was to promote electronic commerce through payment gateways implemented in the country, and to show the progress of the territory in this regard.

The Cuban Telecommunications Company ETECSA, bank branches (BANDEC and BPA), the Procedures Unit of the Ministry of Justice, the Computer and Electronics Youth Club, and the Commerce, Gastronomy and Services Company, led the exchange with the population present on the premmises. There they discussed the advantages of making payments through the Transfermóvil or EnZona platforms, and learned first-hand about the services provided at their facilities.

“For the first time the municipality holds this type of event. It is still up to us to encourage the population more, but we are not stopping. There is a project being processed that focuses on digital transformation from an early age, and that seeks to generate knowledge in pursuit of governance, information technology, and development,” acknowledged Ivanys Mirabal Rodríguez, head of Communications at Villa Blanca.

Leydis Alfonso Espinosa, communication specialist of the Territorial Division of ETECSA in Artemisa, representing the corporate marketing group, added that the company has scheduled meetings with representatives of various sectors in recent months, mainly the new economic players.

“Transfermóvil and the Mi Transfer bag are feasible options for payments today. It was a day in which we promoted, among others, telecommunications services, and the Etecsa website, where many of them can be self-managed. We presented the subscription to the electronic invoice, and there was no shortage of contests and the exchange of good practices with those present ”, he pointed out.

The first of many technology fairs in Guanajay, it is already a learning space in which the experiences promote a greater digital culture in its inhabitants. All this -in a short time- will promote the creation of strategic alliances, the exchange of experiences and the presentation of applications, solutions and services specific to this field.
