by time news

The shores of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Herzliya and Bat Yam are prohibited from bathing in light of the Ministry of Health’s recommendation for concern about seawater pollution on city shores as a result of the rains and the discharge of surface runoff mixed with sewage from the Reading station in Tel Aviv.

The beaches that are open during the winter season and are forbidden for bathing are: in Tel Aviv – Tzuk Tzafon, Tel Baruch, Nafrad, Frishman, Jerusalem, Charles Clore and Givat Ha’aliya. In Herzliya – Hasharon and Acadia South.

The Interior Ministry announced: “Bathing is prohibited until further notice!”
