Work on the Bala-Surya duo is in full swing. Only the composer and cinematographer are now committed. After ‘Nanda’ and ‘Pithamagan’, work has started on a film starring Surya under the direction of Bala. Bala, who recently went to Periyakulam for this and immersed himself in script work, is now engaged in a screenplay discussion with S. Ramakrishnan in Chennai.
Surya has postponed the shooting of the film, which was supposed to start in January, to next March. He has now starred in the Pandiraj directed film ‘Anything Dare’.
Bala has shifted his shooting to March as the film is slated for release next February and its dubbing and promotion work is for Surya.
The production team has denied reports that Keerthi Suresh is paired with Surya. They say that the selection for the heroine will take place only after the story discussion is over. But, the technical artists of the film are coming to an end. According to reports, Balasubramaniam has been confirmed as the cinematographer and GV Prakash as the composer.
