A Llama with a pinata head, a zebra in underpants, a nearly blind jellyfish and a big festival of confetti. This could be summed up the episode of “Mask Singer”, broadcast this Friday evening by TF 1. After a first salvo last week, marked by the appearances of Martin Lamotte and Laura Flessel, Camille Combal and the four investigators saw the arrival of six new candidates: the Medusa, the Husky, the Caterpillar, the Llama, the Phoenix and the Zebra.

And on the side of the investigators, the evening was punctuated by the blows of kabukis, these confetti cannons triggered when the judges are certain to have identified a personality. If their “golden prediction” is good, they earn five points in the final ranking and a hint on another character. Otherwise, they lose the use of this bonus until the end of the season.

But this time, everyone was a hit: Michèle Bernier identified the voice of the Medusa from her first performance, Jeff Panacloc solved the mystery of the Husky, Élodie Frégé unmasked the Lama and Kev Adams put a name to the Caterpillar.

And next week, the first international star…

The public did not have long to wait before discovering the face of the celebrity hidden under this last costume. While circulating the names of Cauet, Christophe Dechavanne, Bernard Montiel, Benjamin Castaldi or even Patrick Dempsey, the Caterpillar was actually… André Bouchet, alias Passe-Partout of “Fort Boyard”.

A surprise for all the jurors, as evidenced by the amazed faces of the investigators. “I had a great time, I had a lot of fun”, confided the famous character of France 2. “He is one of the most popular guys in France, applauded Kev Adams. Everyone loves it, me the first. »

At the end of the show, the Lama took off his head in a pinata to reveal the identity of another personality popularized by television: the dancer Jean-Marc Généreux, ex-judge of “Dance with the stars” on TF 1 and host of France 2. Far from the Philippe Candeloro, Bruno Sanches and Nikos Aliagas advanced by the investigators, who could however have had a flea in their ear in view of the impressive choreographed number proposed by the candidate. But all probably have their heads turned towards next week, when they will discover the first international star of the competition…
