A 42-year-old male, identified as Walter Cesar Solis Calerowas detained by the National Police of Peru when he was caught in the women’s bathroom of a school. The arrest took place on Thursday the 20th in the city of Huancayo.
Calero, who identifies as a woman, disguised herself as a student and hid in the women’s bathroom at Colégio Rosa de América. The objective was to record images of the girls. At the time of the bust, the man was wearing braids and a school sweater.
The deputy director of the school approached Calero and called the police, who acted immediately. At the police station, the parents tried to assault the man.
Commander Erick Acosta, of the Huancayo Police Station, told the local press that Calero will be charged with crimes of violating personal privacy, sexual harassment and indecent exposure, among others.
Parents expressed concern about the case and reported that they are afraid to send their daughters to school. “We are afraid that he will go back to school,” admitted one of the mothers. “The police arrested a family man for assault. That’s not fair. We want freedom from him.”
The Public Ministry follows the case. So far, Calero has been accused of crimes against sexual freedom (touching and acts with a sexual connotation) and lewdness against minors.
Beyond the women’s restroom at school
A biological male, who self-identifies as a “trans woman”, is accused of having raped a woman in a women’s shelter in Windsor, in the Province of Ontario, in Canada.
According to the American network Fox News and the Canadian newspaper Windsor Star, the “trans woman” was identified as Desiree Anderson, 32, who is also known as Cody D’Entremont. Desiree was arrested on Tuesday the 18th. She turned herself in, after having her photograph released by the local police.
The shelter where the investigated crime took place welcomes poor women or victims of violence. In this case, the victim reported the assault on April 4. She said she was assaulted by the “trans woman” while in her bed.
