Investigated for assaults on app delivery people in São Conrado, in the south zone of Rio, former volleyball player and nutritionist Sandra Mathias Correia de Sá, 53, was indicted last Wednesday (19) for the crime of bodily injury against the mother.
The case was investigated by the 14th DP (Leblon) since November last year. According to police chief Daniela Terra, the victim went to the police station and filed a report for having been attacked by her daughter.
“We investigated, heard witnesses and forwarded Sandra’s mother to the forensic examination, which came back with a positive report, with a blunt investigation, which clearly demonstrates that she was assaulted”, he explained.
The delegate said that among the witnesses was the doorman of the building where the family lives. Initially, he was presented as a witness for Sandra, but, at the police station, he came out in defense of the victim.
“He said that Sandra Mathias lived in conflict with her mother. [elas] they always had discussions and that he witnessed [a agressão]including,” he reported.
Still according to Daniela Terra, the inquiry concluded with the indictment for the crime of bodily injury, with the aggravating factor that the victim was a mother, woman and elderly.
The investigation into the attacks on app delivery people, which were caught in a video, is underway at the 15th DP (Gávea).
