Time.news – The Supreme Court of the United States has blocked the restrictions imposed on the use of abortion pill. The much awaited decision arrived in the afternoon in Washington. The judges, in a short text, accepted the urgent request of the Justice Department and of the pharmaceutical company DancoLaboratories, producer of mifepristone, the steroid used for thetermination of pregnancy, rejecting conservative Texas judge Matthew Kacsmaryk’s decision. Biden: “The battle continues”

“By a Supreme Court decision, mifepristone remains available and recognized as safe and effective as we continue this battle in the courts,” said US President Joe Biden. “I – added Biden – will continue to oppose this politicized attack on women’s health. But let it be clear, the American people must continue to use their vote to have a voice, and elect in Congress who will pass a law that will reintroduce the protections guaranteed by the Roe v. Wade”
