MADRID, 22 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Andri Melnik, estimated this Saturday that his country needs “ten times more military aid than it has to defeat Russia this year, in a new request from Kiev to its international allies to alleviate the lack of ammunition that they have been denouncing for some time now.

“We are grateful to our allies for their military aid. But it is not enough. Ukraine needs ten times more to end Russian aggression this year,” Melnik said on his Twitter account.

Similarly, the deputy minister has also called on Ukraine’s international allies to “cross all red lines that have been artificially imposed” and allocate 1 percent of their GDP to arms supplies to Ukraine.

“Our allies have to understand the scale of this war. Support must be ten times greater at this time,” the deputy minister had also assured the Ukrainian media last Friday.
