In the letter we stated that they come from a religious background and therefore they are absent from the competition that took place on Shabbat. “Traygon 5990 is a proud and dedicated group of young people from Israel who worked hard to participate in the ‘First’ robotics competition. We come from a religious background and his faith is an inseparable part of us. Shabbat has a special meaning in the Jewish faith. It is a time when we disconnect and focus on our spiritual world , our families, God and our communities.”

They also added and wrote that they wish success to the competing teams. “In light of this, our team is not present and will not continue to compete. We invite you to visit our booth to read more about it. We want to thank ‘First’ for the opportunity to be here.
