The National Directorate for Monitoring and Evaluation (DNSE) of the National Center for Strategic Planning (Ceplan) has begun a process of technical support for provincial and district governments in the regions of Puno, Apurímac, Ayacucho, Cusco, Arequipa, Huancavelica, Tacna, Moquegua , Pasco, Loreto and Junín, with the objective of strengthening the technical capacities of the planning teams of the entities.
With this accompaniment, the planning teams and cost centers of the entities will be better prepared to develop strategic planning in their entities, as well as carry out adequate monitoring and evaluation of their Institutional Strategic Plan (PEI) and Institutional Operational Plan (POI). . In this way, the design and execution of operational activities will be improved, which will allow more and better services to be provided to the population.
The accompaniment process has been carried out through technical assistance, facilitation, training and workshops, from March 14 to April 30. At the end of this process, the capacities of the local government entities will be better known, which would allow updating the tools, guides and other instruments in monitoring and evaluation, for the benefit of all the other entities part of the National System of Strategic Planning (SINAPLAN). .
With these actions, Ceplan reaffirms its commitment to improve the quality of services provided to citizens, allowing participating entities to improve the way they provide goods and services, using their own resources under a more effective strategic planning perspective. .
